FUTURE:

Rockstar North originally intended to end the franchise with V, but revealed that they made a contract for at least 2 other GTA films.

An interview revealed North's plans:

"Yes, we're doing at least two other GTA films, which will probably conclude with GTA: V's storyline. The IV-trilogy we're big hits, as so as V. We have a new plan that's amazing and fans would like to see, because nobody is left from the previous movies, as they we're all killed off. We've got an idea for the next one for sure."

After a week of GTA V's release, North said that Take Two Interactive joined the production-crew. DMA Design would serve as executive producer.

After 1 and a half week past, North and Interactive officialy confirmed new news that the next film will be called: Grand Theft Auto: The Rise Of Capano. Design revealed shortly after that it would be a two and a half length movie which would be a prequel to the mob and drug empire of Al Capano, and it's previous generations.
